Clementine is a young survivor in a zombie apocalypse that plagued the Earth. For most of her life in the apocalypse, she had Lee, who was a father figure and protected Clem from harm. Lee got bitten trying to save Clem, got his arm cut off to stop the infection, and push forward to save her. He did, however, he cut his arm off too late and was shot by Clem to stop him from turning like her mom and dad did. After leaving Lee and Savannah, she came across Christa and Omid. Forming a little group, then traveled together as Christa was becoming even more pregnant. Clem also matures little during the time spent with the couple. One day, they went to a gas station and Omid was shot in the heart, trying to help Clem. 16 months later, Clem is now even more mature and still with Christa, who lost the baby. The two of them would end up getting split up by bandits and Clem finds herself alone. Keeping a cool head, she carry on and meets a dog named Sam. Sam would end up getting killed by Clem since he attacked and wounded her badly. Continuing on like a trooper, she attracted walkers with her open wound and was saved by Luke and Peter. Who brought her to their group that has a doctor. However, since Clem's wound looked like a walker bite, the group put her into a shed for the night. If she had a fever in the morning, they would shot her, but if she survived the night, she would get patched up. Knowing that she would die if she waited, she escaped the shed and went into the group's house to get the things she needed to clean and stitch up herself. Fighting through the pain, she stitched herself up, but was then attacked by a walker who got into the shed were Clem go out of it. In the end, Clem killed the walker and was brought into the house. In the morning, she went out to catch fish with Pete and his nephew, Nick. However, things don't go to plan and Pete ends up dying.
